These Terms of Use govern your use of Skipper360, the watercraft maintenance application operated by Annapolis Apps LLC. Please read them carefully — they include important disclaimers about maintenance information and AI-assisted features.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Annapolis Apps LLC. By creating a Skipper360 account, signing in, or otherwise using the Skipper360 mobile application or related services (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Skipper360 and Annapolis Apps LLC

The Service is operated by Annapolis Apps LLC. “Skipper360” is a product name and DBA (doing-business-as) of Annapolis Apps LLC, not a separate legal entity. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” in these Terms mean Annapolis Apps LLC.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account and use the Service. The Service is intended for personal management of recreational watercraft and is not directed at children.

4. User accounts and security

Skipper360 uses passwordless sign-in: you provide an email address and we send a one-time verification code to it. Your account is tied to that email address, and anyone with access to your email can request sign-in codes. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for all activity that occurs under your Skipper360 account.

On supported devices you may enable biometric unlock (such as Face ID) for faster re-entry into the app. Biometric verification is performed entirely by your device’s operating system; we never receive your biometric data.

Notify us promptly at info@annapolisapps.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

5. Description of the Service

Skipper360 helps you organize and track information about your watercraft, including:

  • Watercraft and on-board equipment profiles;
  • Maintenance tasks, schedules, and due-date tracking based on engine hours and time;
  • Engine hours logs;
  • Service visit records, including providers, work performed, and costs;
  • Uploaded manuals, documents, photos, and invoices;
  • Maintenance reminders delivered as notifications on your device;
  • Dashboards and, on eligible plans, analytics and exportable reports.

6. AI-assisted features

Some features of the Service use artificial intelligence to reduce manual data entry. For example, when you upload an owner’s manual or a service invoice, AI models are used to classify the document and extract maintenance tasks, intervals, or service details, which you can then review, edit, and accept.

AI output can be wrong. AI-extracted or AI-generated information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content and verifying it against your equipment’s official manufacturer documentation before relying on it.

7. Maintenance information disclaimer

Skipper360 is an organizational tool. It helps you record and track maintenance information — it does not generate professional maintenance advice, and it is not a substitute for professional marine mechanical inspection, maintenance, or repair services.

  • Always verify maintenance requirements, intervals, and procedures against your manufacturer’s official documentation and qualified marine service professionals.
  • Maintenance reminders are informational tools only. They depend on the accuracy of the data you enter (including engine hours) and on your device’s notification settings, and must not be treated as guaranteed safety notifications.
  • You remain solely responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and seaworthiness of your watercraft at all times.

8. Your content and uploaded documents

You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service — watercraft details, maintenance records, hours logs, service history, and uploaded files such as manuals, photos, and invoices (“User Content”). You grant Annapolis Apps LLC a limited license to host, store, process (including AI processing described above), display, and back up your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the content you add, including manufacturer manuals. Official manufacturer manuals may be stored once and referenced for multiple users through a shared manual library; your personal documents, records, and photos are not shared with other users.

9. Acceptable and prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • Upload content that infringes others’ intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to disrupt or overload the Service;
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written authorization;
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the Service as your own;
  • Use automated means to scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service.

10. Subscription plans

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscriptions:

  • Free — includes 1 watercraft and 1 piece of equipment, maintenance schedules and reminders, and engine hours logging. AI document extraction and service visit history are not included.
  • Pro — unlimited watercraft, equipment, and service records, plus AI-assisted manual and invoice extraction.
  • Captain — everything in Pro, plus maintenance analytics and PDF/CSV report exports.

New accounts may receive a 30-day trial with Captain-level access. When a trial ends without a paid subscription, the account returns to the Free plan. Plan features and limits may change over time; material changes will be reflected in the app and in these Terms.

11. Billing, renewals, and cancellation

Paid subscriptions are purchased through your app store account (such as the Apple App Store) and are subject to the store’s payment terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled through your app store subscription settings before renewal. Prices shown on this site are indicative; the final price is always the one presented at checkout in the store.

Refunds for app store purchases are handled by the app store under its policies; we do not process payment card details ourselves. Our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat, processes purchase records so the app can recognize your subscription status.

12. Downgrades and data deletion caused by plan limits

If your subscription ends, lapses, or you move to a plan with lower limits, some of your records may exceed your new plan’s limits. In that case the Service shows you a preview of exactly which records exceed the new limits — typically the most recently created watercraft, equipment, and service records beyond the allowed counts — before they are deleted, along with their attachments.

Deleted records cannot be recovered. If you plan to downgrade, export or record any information you need first, or reduce your records yourself so you stay within the new plan’s limits.

13. App store and platform terms

Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the platform through which you obtained it (for example, Apple’s standard licensed application terms). The platform provider is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the Service.

14. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, branding, and content other than your User Content — is owned by Annapolis Apps LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for managing your own watercraft. Manufacturer manuals and documentation remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Feedback

We welcome product feedback and feature suggestions at feedback@annapolisapps.com. By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation. Feedback is voluntary, and this address is for product feedback only — for account, privacy, or legal matters, contact info@annapolisapps.com.

16. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web Services), email delivery (Resend), AI processing (OpenAI and, where enabled, Google Gemini), and subscription management (RevenueCat). Their availability affects the Service, and their processing of data on our behalf is described in our Privacy Policy.

17. Service availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided without an uptime guarantee. We may modify, add, or remove features, or suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice of material changes that affect your stored data.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES, AI-EXTRACTED INFORMATION, OR REMINDERS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR DELIVERED ON TIME.

19. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANNAPOLIS APPS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF WATERCRAFT, EQUIPMENT, DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING RELIANCE ON MAINTENANCE INFORMATION OR MISSED REMINDERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (OR US $50 IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

20. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account by contacting info@annapolisapps.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

22. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
